Sign in
Mirin for Android is on Google Play. The iPhone app is arriving soon.
You sign in with a link sent to your email, and you only do it once on each phone.
- Enter your email. Open the Mirin app, type the email you use for Mirin, and choose Send sign-in link.
- Open the link on the same phone. It opens a page that asks you to review and approve this device.
- Choose Authorize Device. The app signs in by itself and opens on Today. There is no password to type.
- Allow notifications. When your phone asks, say yes so chats, forms and orders can reach you.

- The sign-in email has not arrived. What now?
- Resend link unlocks after 30 seconds. Use a different email starts again.
- What if the sign-in link expired?
- If too much time passes, the app says That sign-in link expired. Send a new link to try again.
- What if I lose signal while approving?
- Nothing is lost. The app keeps waiting for your approval and checks again as soon as you come back to it or your signal returns, until the link expires.
- I have more than one website. Which one does the app show?
- Everything in the app follows one website at a time, and the app remembers which. Switch in More with Switch website, or press and hold the Today tab.
Find your way around
Five tabs run along the bottom of the app. What sits in the fourth depends on whether your website sells online.
- Today
- What needs you now and how the day is going: sales or inquiries, visitors, chats, and the things waiting for you.
- Inbox
- Website chats, form submissions and contacts, with a count of what is new. Read the Inbox guide.
- Ask
- The Mirin mark in the middle. It opens Ask Mirin full screen on the last page you asked about, or your homepage, and closing it brings you back to where you were.
- Orders or Website
- A website that sells online gets Orders here. Read the Orders guide. A website without a store gets Website here instead.
- More
- Your business as tiles: Insights and Media, Contacts when your account has it, and for a store Website, Products and Discounts. Then your account, alerts, appearance and signed in phones.
Without a store, Website sits in the tab bar. Inbox is drawn in its own guide, so that tab stays put here.

Needs you
Needs you lists what is waiting, in this order, each with its own button. When nothing is waiting it says All caught up.
- Orders to fulfil. Open takes you to Orders, showing the orders waiting to be sent.
- Chats to read. Reply opens the conversation, ready to type. With several unread chats it opens the Inbox.
- Form submissions. Open shows a single new submission right on Today and marks it read. Several open the Forms inbox.
- Low stock. For a store. A product with 6 or fewer left, or several of them. Open goes to the product, or to Products on Low stock.
Done today
Once you have answered a chat or shipped an order, Done today says so, for example You answered 1 chat and shipped 4 orders today. A chat counts as answered when your business sent its latest message today.
Change a page with Ask Mirin
Tap the Mirin mark in the middle of the tab bar and Ask Mirin opens full screen on your real page, the way visitors see it. Nothing goes live until you say so.
- Say what to changeTap the line at the bottom and write it in your own words. The section you were looking at comes along as a tag.
- See it on the pageThe change lands as a draft right away. Ask scrolls to it and outlines it, and only you can see it.
- Publish or discardOne strip above the text box says what is new, for example New headline. Tap it to see the change on the page again. The trash can discards it and Publish puts it live.
Close Ask any time. A change stays a draft until you publish or discard it.
Mirin is scripted here, so it answers the examples the way the app answers that kind of request. Nothing leaves this page. Long-press a section on the page (or right-click it) to write about that section.

- Publish
- Puts the page live right away, with every change waiting on it. With several waiting it reads Publish all. A page that has never been published asks first.
- Discard
- The trash can takes the change back out. With several changes waiting on a live page it asks first, and the page goes back to what visitors see now. For ten seconds after, Put it back on the line under the page name brings the change back as a draft. Credits used to write a change are not returned.
- See live and See draft
- The line under the page name says Draft · only you can see it. See live shows what visitors see now at the same place on the page, and See draft brings your draft back.
- Undo publish
- After Publish the line under the page name says Published · visitors see this now, with Undo publish beside it. It stays there for 24 hours and puts the page back as it was. A first publish has nothing to undo.
There is nothing to save
A change is a draft the moment it lands, so Ask has no Keep button. Close Ask with a change waiting and it says Saved as a draft. Not on your website yet. Your draft and Undo publish are still there after you restart the app: open Ask on that page and it scrolls to your draft and outlines what changed. The page builder on a computer shows the same draft.
Moving around the page
- Long-press a section. Hold your finger on any part of the page, like the main banner or your hours, and Ask opens the conversation with that section as the tag. The change stays in that section, and if your words sound like another one, Ask asks which you mean. A section every page shares, like the top banner, the header or the footer, changes on every page at once: the strip says “on every page”, one Publish puts it live everywhere, and Discard or Undo publish puts every page back. Tap the x on the tag to remove it.
- Links switch pages. Tap a link to another page of your website and Ask moves to that page, so the page on screen is always the one you are changing.
- Forms and the cart rest. Inside Ask, forms, the cart and checkout do nothing, so a test tap never sends a lead or starts an order. Slideshows hold still and the cookie banner stays out of the way.
- The conversation. The speech bubble at the top right shows the whole conversation, and the page icon in the same spot brings the page back. A plan, or an answer that changes nothing, waits there.
Tap the page name at the top to open Pages. Type to find any page by its name or address. With nothing typed, the page you are on comes first with History and Open on your website, then the pages you opened last, then every page Ask can change, homepage first. A page with a draft waiting says Draft, and one that has never been on your website says Not live. Tap one and Ask moves to it, or tap + for a new page (see Make a new page from your phone). While Mirin is working, the line under the page name says what it is changing, with Stop.
What you can ask for
- New wording. Anything already on the page: a heading, your hours, a button. Mirin answers with what it changed, for example The headline now reads “Reformer classes for every body”.
- A photo. Tap +, then Take photo or Choose from library, and say where it goes, for example put this photo in the main banner. The photo goes into your media library first, and Send waits until it is ready. One photo per message.
- A plan first. Tap Build and choose Plan, and Mirin says what it would do without changing anything. Make the change then does it. The same menu holds Standard or Best quality and your credits.
- An earlier version. Tap the page name and choose History for the page’s last 20 versions. Restore asks first, and on a live page offers Restore to draft or Restore and publish. A copy of what is there now is kept first.
On the phone, Ask Mirin changes what is on a page and adds to it. Ask for one new section and it lands where you say. Ask for several, or make a new page with New page in Pages and say what it should say, and Mirin builds them one at a time from the sections your website already has, with Stop. A new page gets your website’s header and footer with its first section. Anything none of your sections can show is left out, and Mirin says so once. Brand new section designs and layout are made in the page builder on a computer. A page has one conversation, the same one the page builder opens on that page. Buttons in a new section
After Mirin adds sections, their buttons are checked against the finished page. An Inquire or Book button can lead to that page’s form, and a button naming another page leads there. Existing buttons and your shared menu keep their destinations. Links you supply for an outside booking service are kept. Check the draft before publishing.
Credits
Ask Mirin uses your website’s AI credits, shared with everyone who edits it. The Build menu shows what is left, and tapping that line explains how credits come back. When they run low, the count shows beside Send too. Credits are used only when Mirin writes something, a change that fails costs nothing, and Best quality uses more for each change. The app shows your credits but never sells them. If you run out, Ask says when more come back, and your website stays as it is. Read AI credits.
Mirin asks before it uses AI
The first time you send something to Ask Mirin, or ask for a drafted reply, the app asks Let Mirin use AI? It says what is sent: what you write, and the page or conversation it is about, goes to Mirin’s AI providers so they can write the change or the reply. Choose Allow to carry on. Choose Not now and nothing is sent. You can turn it off again in More, under AI writing.
Report something Mirin wrote
If a reply is offensive, or says something that is wrong or made up, tap Report under it in the conversation. Say what is wrong in the Reason box, then Send report. A person at Mirin reads every report, and the reply then says Reported. A person at Mirin will read it. Reporting changes nothing on your page: discard the draft to take the change back out.
Make a new page from your phone
A new page starts from one sentence. Say what the page is for, and Mirin builds it from the sections your website already has, in your website’s own style, with your header and footer. Nothing goes live until you publish it.
- Open New pageTap the page name at the top of Ask for Pages, then +.
- Name itThe address it will get shows under the name as you type, for example saltandstone.example.com/workshops.
- Say what it is forUnder What should it say?, write a sentence. Mirin builds the sections from it, one at a time.
- PublishThe page is a draft only you can see until you tap Publish, which asks first on a new page.

A page with nothing to say yet opens empty, and the text box asks What should this page say?
Tap the page name at the top for Pages. Gift cards has never been on the website, so it can be deleted. Tap + for New page, or fill in an example. Mirin is scripted here and nothing leaves this page.

Small classes, real attention, and a studio that feels like yours.
- Add a section by asking. Write what you want, like add a reviews section under the main banner, and it lands on the page where you said, as a draft. Ask for several at once and Mirin shows its plan first, then builds them one at a time with Stop.
- Find a page. Pages has Find a page at the top. Type part of a name or an address and only the pages it finds stay. A page with changes waiting says Draft, and one that has never been on your website says Not live.
- Delete a page that isn’t live. A page that has never been on your website, and is not the homepage, has Delete page under it in Pages, and at the foot of its details in Website. It asks first and cannot be undone. Ask moves to your homepage and says Page deleted. A page that has been live is deleted in the dashboard, in Manage pages.
- Add a published page to your menu. When you open a published page your menu does not link to, the strip offers Add Workshops to your menu. This also appears after publishing a new page. Add to menu changes your menu as a draft on every page, ready to publish. The × says Not now. The offer appears once during that visit, and only when your website has a menu Mirin can change.
Mirin leaves spaces for the real words
Give Mirin the real reviews, prices, times and inclusions you want to show. It checks generated copy against your information and leaves visible spaces where details are missing, including benefits and badges. Review those spaces and your buttons before publishing. Publishing with spaces still asks first, with Publish anyway. Read AI page edits for how the checks work.
When a banner needs a photo
Mirin looks for a suitable library photo, a layout your design supports without a picture, or the design’s default image. If none fits, it explains what is missing and adds nothing. Add a suitable photo in Media, then try again. The unfinished section returns its credits. Reading your message is a separate step and can remain charged.
- The same page everywhere. A page made on the phone is a normal page of your website. It shows in Website and in the dashboard, and the page builder opens the same draft.
- Nothing is sold here. Making pages uses your website’s AI credits, which the app shows but never sells. See Credits in Change a page with Ask Mirin.
Check your pages
Website lists every page with its address, its status and when it last changed, with Find a page to search. Without a store it is a tab. With a store, open it from the first tile in More.

Tap a page for its details: when it last changed and who changed it, its address, and the title and description search engines show. Ask Mirin about this page is how you change it from your phone, and New page in Ask adds one. A page that has never been live has Delete page at the foot of its details. Renaming pages and changing their settings happens in the dashboard, in Manage pages.
Add pictures from your phone
Media, a tile in More, holds every picture on your website, newest first. Tap + and choose Take photo or Choose from library.

4 pictures
- Add. Up to 10 pictures from the library at a time, each up to 10 MB: JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF.
- Private by default. Photos are saved again before they go up, so where you took them and other photo details never reach your website.
- Details. Tap a picture for its size, dimensions and when it was added, plus its description when it has one. Copy link copies its address.
- Delete. Asks first. A picture on your website is removed from every page that shows it, and this cannot be undone.
Camera or photos turned off?
If the phone says Mirin cannot use the camera or open your photos, choose Open Settings and allow it. Descriptions, folders and other files are managed in the dashboard’s Media.
Read insights
Insights, a tile in More, shows how your website is doing. Choose Today, 7 days, 14 days, 30 days or 90 days, and the app keeps your choice while it is open.
A store gets Orders in the tab bar and opens Website from More. Inbox and Orders are drawn in their own guide, so those tabs stay put here.

- Your business
- Tiles for Insights and Media, Contacts when your account has it, and for a store Website, Products and Discounts. Every tile opens a screen in the app.
- Account
- Your name and email. Tap it for Account, where you can sign out, or delete your account at the very bottom.
- Alerts
- Phone alerts shows whether this phone gets alerts. Tap it to choose which alerts you get and set quiet hours. Read Phone alerts.
- AI writing
- Allowed, or Off until you allow it. Tap it to turn off Ask Mirin and drafted replies, or to allow them.
- Appearance
- System, Light or Dark. System, the default, follows your phone’s setting.
- Devices
- Every phone signed in to your account, when it was last used and whether its alerts are on. Tap another phone to sign it out, and its alerts stop too.
- About
- Help, Terms of service and Privacy policy, each opening in your phone’s browser.
To delete your account, tap your name under Account in More, then Delete account at the bottom of the Account screen. It sits one level in so nobody taps it by accident, and it asks you to type DELETE and confirm before anything happens. Read what happens when you delete your account.
- What if my plan does not include something?
- The app says so plainly, for example Website chat is not available for this website, on iPhone and Android alike. The app never changes plans or takes payments. Compare plans in Plans and pricing and change yours in the dashboard.
- Can I do everything from the app?
- The app is for the day to day: replying, fulfilling, quick page changes, stock, prices and discount codes. Building pages, setting up your store and billing stay in the dashboard on a computer.
Stay signed in, safely
You sign in once. The app renews its own session while you use it, so you rarely see the sign-in screen again.
The session lives in your phone’s secure storage, on this phone only. It is never copied to another phone.
With no signal, the app still opens straight to your account and shows what it saved last time, with a small No connection. Showing what was saved. notice at the top. Losing signal never signs you out. Only signing out, or signing this phone out from another phone, does that.
Chat replies written with no signal wait and send once you are back online. Other changes, like fulfilling an order, changing stock or making a discount code, need a connection: with none, the app says so at once, for example No connection. Refunding needs a connection, so nothing was changed.
Signing out
Sign out of Mirin is on the Account screen: tap your name in More to open it. It asks first: To sign back in, use your email as you did before. Phone alerts stop until then.
Lost a phone?
On another phone signed in to your account, open More and tap the lost phone under Devices to sign it out. It stops working at once, and its alerts stop with it.
