Every report reads the same days
Insights is the one place to see how your website is doing. Choose the dates once, and Overview, Website, Email and Chat all read the same days in your website’s own time zone.

Start on the Overview
Open Insights in the navigation. The Overview gives each report a lane with three headline figures, each judged against the period of equal length before it.

Chat
Average first response 1m 22s.
Rates count the emails sent in this period, whenever they were opened.
Choose Open Website, Open Chat or Open Email to read the full report.
- Website
- Page views, visitors, tracked clicks and sessions. Below them sit one trend you can switch between metrics, Pages, Tracked actions, and a Details breakdown of devices, traffic sources and engagement.
- Chat
- People who chatted, messages received, conversations started and the average first response, with a daily trend you can switch.
- Sent, delivered, opened and clicked for the emails sent in the period, how each system email and sequence step did, and what kept email from landing. It appears when Email is on for your website.
- Sales
- Sales, orders and average order, with Products and Customers as views of the same report. It appears once selling is on. Until your store exists, its lane offers Set up your store.
Old report links still work
Links to the former Analytics report, the store’s performance report and the email analytics page now open the matching report under Insights.
Try it with your own website
- Open Insights, then Website. Select the date button, choose Last 7 days, then Apply dates.
- Switch the trend. In Activity over time, choose Tracked clicks to see each day’s interactions.
- Find your busiest page. In Pages, sort by Clicks or Click sessions. Select a page to open the live page in a new tab.
- See what people clicked. Open Tracked actions. On page shows where an action appeared, and Leads to shows where it goes.
- Follow the same days. Open Chat or Email. Last 7 days is already chosen there too.
Choose the dates and time zone
Every report reads the same period in the same reporting time zone, both chosen in the header. A number on Website and a number on Email always describe the same days.

Today in UTC is Sep 15, 2026. The report reads 7 days, both dates included, and compares them with the 7 days before.
It can end no later than today.
Last 7, 14, 30 or 90 days.
Every daily total, comparison and Today uses it.
- Select the date button in the report header. It names the period you are reading, such as Last 30 days.
- Choose a preset or your own dates. Pick Last 7, 14, 30 or 90 days, type dates as month/day/year, such as 09/12/2026, or pick them on the calendar.
- Check the day count, then choose Apply dates. Presets wait for Apply dates too. Cancel or Escape keeps the dates you had.
How the period behaves
- One period everywhere
- The dates follow you between reports and stay with each website while the app is open. A preset keeps its meaning, so Last 30 days tomorrow still ends on that day.
- Both dates count
- A period includes its first and last day. The line under the report name always shows the exact dates.
- How far back
- Custom dates can start up to 365 days ago and end no later than today. The picker says why when it will not apply a date.
- Reporting time zone
- Choose the globe button to set one time zone for the website, so teammates everywhere see the same numbers.
Until you save a time zone
If your website has a store with a time zone set, every report reads in your store’s time zone, and the dialog says so and starts on that zone. Otherwise the website reads in UTC and the dialog suggests your browser’s zone. Saving a zone recalculates every report in it. Daylight saving is handled for you.
Read the numbers
Select the information button beside a figure to see what it counts and the exact dates it is compared with.
- Comparisons
- A change compares the preceding period of equal length. Arrows show direction, not whether a change is good.
- Visitors and sessions
- Visitors are distinct visitor identifiers, and sessions are distinct browsing sessions. Neither is a count of identified people.
- Click sessions
- A session with several clicks on one page counts once for that page. Adding page rows together does not give a site total.
- Email rates
- Opened and clicked count the emails sent in the period, whenever they were opened. Rates for an email with fewer than twenty sends print muted.
- Unavailable
- A missing measurement reads Unavailable, while a recorded zero stays zero.
- Refresh figures
- The refresh button asks for the same dates again. If that fails, the previous result stays on screen and says so.
No comparison means the earlier period has no usable baseline. A few opens can swing a small number, which is why rates under twenty sends print muted. If one report fails to load, the others stay visible and the failed one offers Retry.
No activity yet?
An empty period reads No activity in this period. Pages appear after visitors allow analytics and browse or click. Try another period, or choose View pages to check what is live.
Common questions
- Why are my numbers lower than my raw traffic?
- Visitors who choose Essential only, and browsers that send Global Privacy Control, stay out of every report.
- Do all the reports show the same dates?
- Yes. The period and the reporting time zone are chosen once in the header, and Overview, Website, Email and Chat all read the same days.
- What does Unavailable mean?
- A measurement that is missing reads Unavailable, while a recorded zero stays zero.
- How far back can a report look?
- Custom dates can start up to 365 days ago and end no later than today.
Sales has its own guide in Sales insights. Email rates are explained in Email marketing, and chat figures in Website chat.
What gets tracked
Published pages record page views and clicks whenever a visitor’s consent allows analytics. There is nothing to install or turn on.
Reformer pilates
Strength that starts slow.
Small classes, patient instructors and a window on the water.

Most-clicked tracked actions. Each row shows its page and destination.
No tracked actions for these dates.
Click a button or link on the sample page.
What each click records
- The action’s label, and whether it is a link or a button.
- The page it was on.
- Where it leads, when it leads somewhere.
- The device type: desktop, tablet or mobile.
- A browsing session identifier, so clicks from one visit group together.
What counts as a click
Buttons, links and anything marked as a button or link all count. A link that jumps to another spot on the same page does not. Page views also note the site a visitor came from, which is how Traffic sources sorts visits into organic, direct, social and referral.
Counts can be lower than your raw traffic
Visitors who choose Essential only, and browsers that send Global Privacy Control, stay out of every report. Keep your privacy notice in line with how you use analytics.

Google Analytics 4
Mirin loads GA4 only after a visitor accepts analytics cookies, so consent is handled for you.
From your GA4 web data stream. It begins with G-. See the setup guide
Paste the ID and save to start sending visits.
- Copy your measurement ID. In Google Analytics, open the web data stream for your website. The ID begins with G-.
- Open Website settings, then Analytics in Mirin.
- Paste it into Measurement ID and choose Save. The page shows Connected, and Disconnect appears beside the ID.
Consent comes first
GA4 follows the same consent check as Mirin’s own analytics. In the editor’s Site Design, open Cookie banner, turn on Show cookie consent banner, and pick a Tracking default.
- Consent first
- Mirin’s analytics and GA4 wait until the visitor chooses Accept analytics.
- Notice and opt-out
- Mirin’s analytics and GA4 start right away, and stop if the visitor chooses Essential only.
- Global Privacy Control
- A browser that sends this signal keeps analytics and GA4 off, whatever the banner says.
- Cookie preferences
- Link to #cookie-preferences from your footer, and visitors can reopen the banner to change their choice.
Form conversions without submitted details
When a form on your published site is sent, Mirin gives GA4 the recommended generate_lead event with a fixed form_source of hosted_contact_form. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, messages and every other field stay out of it.
