Learn how the revenue goal works- Open Insights, then Sales. Stay on Overview. Revenue goal sits under the figures at the top, above Store funnel.
- Select Set a goal. The card says what your store took in a day over the last 28 days, so you start from where you are.
- Enter Online revenue a day. It is in your store's currency, and it can be anything above zero.
- Choose Reach it by, if you want a date. It is optional. With a date, the card says how fast revenue needs to grow to get there.

What the editor checks
- Enter how much you want to take in online each day, above zero.
- Shows when the amount is empty, zero or not a number. Type it the way you think of it: 1000, 1,000 and $1,000 all work.
- Choose a date after today, or leave it empty.
- Shows when the date is today or in the past. A goal with no date is fine.
Read how close you are
The top of the card answers one question: what does the store take in online on an ordinary day, and how far is that from the goal?

Online revenue is what customers paid through your website checkout plus club charges, after refunds, in whole days up to yesterday. Orders added by hand, test orders and cancelled orders are left out.
- The daily average
- Online revenue over the last 28 days divided by 28, such as $189.40 a day. Beside it, your goal and the share of it reached.
- The meter
- The same share, drawn. It turns green once the daily average reaches the goal.
- What made it
- One sentence: how much came from website orders and how much from club charges, with how many of each.
- Against the 28 days before
- How the daily average moved, such as 19% more than in the 28 days before ($159.68 a day).
- The pace to your date
- With a Reach it by date: the days left and how much daily revenue needs to grow every week to arrive on the day.
What the pace means
By Mar 31, 2027.
Small steady weeks get there.
The weekly growth is worked out from where you are today to the goal on your date, compounding week on week. It says nothing until online revenue comes in, and once the date passes the card asks you to choose a new one in Edit goal.
Watch the weeks
Revenue a day, week by week shows the last 12 weeks, one point a week. Each point is that week's online revenue divided by 7, so it reads in the same units as your goal, which is drawn as a line across the chart. The last four weeks are the 28 days at the top of the card.
Sales
Aug 18, 2026 to Sep 14, 2026Revenue a day, week by week
Last 12 weeks to Sep 14. Each point is a week's online revenue divided by 7.
- Point at a week. to read its revenue a day and how it split between website orders and the club.
- Zoom in on the weeks. appears when your goal is more than three times your best week, which would flatten the line. The chart then scales to your weeks and says the goal is above it. Show the goal brings it back.
- The last point. is labelled with its figure, so this week reads at a glance.
One week is not a trend
A club billing day or one large order can lift a single week. Read the direction over four to six weeks before you change course.
See what drives it
What drives it lists the five numbers your online revenue is made of, for the last 28 days against the 28 days before, each with how much it moved.

- Real visits
- People who opened your website in the 28 days, each counted once however often they came. Search engines and other automated browsers are left out.
- Visits that order
- Website orders as a share of real visits.
- Average order
- What a website order brought in on average, with shipping and tax, after refunds.
- Club members

- Charge per member
- Club charges in the 28 days divided by club members.
How they add up
Real visits × visits that order × average order is your website revenue. Club members × charge per member is your club revenue. Together they are the online revenue at the top of the card. At the sample shop:
58 website orders.
58 × $72.40 = $4,199.20.
$1,104 from the club.
$4,199.20 plus $1,104 is $5,303.20 over 28 days, which is the $189.40 a day the card leads with.
Which one to work on
- Real visits. More people to the site: email your list, post the products people ask about, and keep pages quick to find in search.
- Visits that order. More of them buying: the Store funnel shows the step where shoppers leave.
- Average order. More in each cart: bundles, mixed cases and free shipping above an order total.
- Club members. Each new member adds a charge every cycle without another visit. Put the club on the pages your best customers read.
- Charge per member. A larger box or a premium tier lifts every member at once.

What counts as online revenue
Online revenue is what customers paid online, after refunds: your website checkout and your club.
- Website orders
- Paid orders placed through your store’s own checkout, with shipping and tax, after discounts.
- Club charges
- Every paid subscription charge, first box and renewals alike.
- Left out
- Orders added by hand, test orders, cancelled orders, unpaid orders, orders synced from another platform and orders in another currency.
- Refunds. come off the order they belong to, on the day it was placed. An order refunded in full counts as nothing.
- Whole days up to yesterday. in your store’s reporting time zone, so the figures do not move during the day and an evening order lands on its own day.
- Not the period above. The card always reads the last 28 days and 12 weeks, whatever period you choose in the Insights header, so this week reads the same way as last week.
- Real visits. are the Store funnel’s Visitors: each person once, automated browsers left out, and counted only for people who allow analytics on your website.
Your goal is a daily average
Some days bring a club billing run and some bring nothing. Dividing 28 days by 28 smooths that out, so a quiet Tuesday never reads as a missed goal.
Common questions
- Why is the card’s revenue different from Sales?
- Sales counts every paid order in the period you choose, including orders added by hand, and takes refunds off on the day they are made. The goal card counts website orders and club charges only, over the last 28 whole days, with refunds taken off their own order.
- Why are today’s orders not in it yet?
- The card reads whole days up to yesterday, so a figure never drops in the morning and climbs through the day. Today’s orders appear tomorrow.
- Why is Real visits lower than my website traffic?
- It counts people, not page views or sessions, leaves out search engines and other automated browsers, and counts only people who allow analytics on your website. It is the same number as Visitors in the Store funnel.
- What if I sell in more than one currency?
- The goal is in your store’s currency, and only orders in that currency count toward it.
- Why does the card say Not enough data?
- A driver that divides by something that was zero cannot be worked out. Average order needs at least one website order, and Charge per member needs at least one club member.
- Does changing the goal change the figures?
- No. The revenue, the weeks and the drivers stay the same. Only the goal line, the share reached and the pace change.
